According to GM No. 1 to 21.A.239(a) compliance verification is defined as follows:
- Approval by signing of all compliance documents, including test programmes and data, necessary for the verification of compliance with the applicable certification specifications and environmental protection requirements as defined in the Certification Programme;
- Approval of the technical content (completeness, technical accuracy,...), including any subsequent revisions of the manuals approved by the Agency (Aircraft Flight Manual (Supplement)), the Airworthiness Limitations section of the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness and the Certification Maintenance Requirements document, where applicable.

Nachweisverifizierung
Gemäss GM Nr. 1 bis 21.A.239(a) ist die Nachweisverifizierung wie folgt festgelegt:
- Genehmigung durch Unterzeichnung aller Einhaltungsdokumente, einschließlich Testprogramme und -daten, die für die Verifizierung der Übereinstimmung mit den anwendbaren Zertifizierungsspezifikationen und Umweltschutzanforderungen, wie im Zertifizierungsprogramm festgelegt, erforderlich sind;
- Genehmigung des technischen Inhalts (Vollständigkeit, technische Genauigkeit,...), einschliesslich aller nachfolgenden Überarbeitungen der von der Agentur genehmigten Handbücher (Luftfahrzeug-Flughandbuch (Ergänzung)), des Abschnitts Beschränkungen der Lufttüchtigkeit in den Anweisungen für die Aufrechterhaltung der Lufttüchtigkeit und gegebenenfalls des Dokuments über die Anforderungen für die Instandhaltung der Zulassung.
